M SHAUKAT HAYAT

Shaukat Hayat is a Senior Associate at SR-Law’s Islamabad office. He graduated with a B.Sc. (Hons.) degree from the University of Toronto, Canada, following which, he obtained the L.L.B. (Hons.) degree from the University of London. Prior to joining SR-Law, Shaukat gained experience at a reputable law firm in Islamabad, specializing in corporate advisory, as well as at the Competition Commission of Pakistan.

Shaukat focuses on corporate matters, including legal and commercial advisory, corporate structuring and restructuring, contractual drafting and negotiation, regulatory compliance, company incorporation, opinion rendering, and legislative drafting, in addition to being a member of the litigation team in disputes of commercial, constitutional and civil natures, and those involving alternate dispute resolution mechanisms.
