The Punjab Acid and Burn Crime Bill, 2014

Drafted a comprehensive Bill to counter the violence arising from acid and burn crimes in Pakistan, and to safeguard the constitutional rights and rehabilitate individuals who are victim to acid and burn crimes.

Child Marriage Prohibition Bill, 2013.

Drafted a Bill for the Province of Sindh to eradicate the social evil of solemnization of child marriages, while ensuring that the spirit of the established principles of Islam is duly incorporated, and is not dishonoured in any way.

Mandatory DNA Testing Bill, 2013

Drafted a comprehensive Bill for the Province of Sindh for mandatory DNA in all cases pertaining to the allegation of rape. Proposed amendments in the relevant laws to make certain that DNA testing, in rape cases, is admitted as primary evidence for the conviction of the accused. Placed specific focus on ensuring that the proposed legislation, while evolving the law in regards to DNA testing, remains faithful to the contours of Islamic Jurisprudence.

The Dowry Prohibition Bill, 2013

Drafted an Act for the Province of Sindh to prohibit the evil practice of offering and accepting of dowry. Proposed amendments in the existing law to ensure that those involved in giving or taking of dowry are not only heavily fined but can also be effectively traced and be imprisoned.
