Mr. Yousaf is an Advocate of the High Courts. He regularly represents local and international clients of the Firm before lower courts, councils, tribunals, commissions and High Courts, across Pakistan. His area of expertise includes corporate, commercial, civil, antitrust/competition, intellectual property and constitutional litigation, arbitrations, mergers and acquisitions, negotiation and drafting of agreements, advising on regulatory and legal compliance, conveyancing and real property matters, infrastructure projects, advising and structuring financing transactions, company matters, cross-border transactions and project finance.

Mr. Yousaf regularly advises eminent media groups of Pakistan on regulatory compliance and actively represents them before national and international regulators, quasi-judicial and judicial forums. He has also represented prominent companies, conglomerates and associations before the Competition Commission of Pakistan, in various matters pertaining to antitrust/competition law.

Previously, Mr. Yousaf has worked at the National Assembly of Pakistan and assisted parliamentarians on legislative drafting for various statutes including the Transgender’s Protection Bill, Electoral Reforms Bill and the Public Interest Disclosures Bill.

He has also worked at the Office of the Advocate General and was a part of the team that assisted the Government of Punjab in developing the first Provincial Water Management Policy and to develop guidelines for the Prevention of Conflict-of-Interest Bill. During his time at the office of the Advocate General, Mr. Yousaf assisted the Advocate General of Punjab on prominent cases before the High Courts and the Supreme Court, pertaining to contract Law, criminal law, constitutional law, service and administrative law.

In addition, Mr. Yousaf provides pro bono legal services to various national and international charitable organizations and non-government organizations (NGOs).
